Naki RoastThe short version.
Naki Roast is a small coffee operation in Taranaki, Aotearoa New Zealand. We collect as little about you as we can, we don't sell your data, and we handle the bits we do keep in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we measure
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, where visits come from, and rough actions like adding a bag to the cart or joining the waitlist. Google sets cookies in your browser and processes usage data (including your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your general location) on our behalf. We use this only in aggregate to improve the shop; we don't use it to identify you personally. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
When you give us your email
If you join a waitlist, we store your email so we can let you know when a roast is back. Order checkout is handled by Shopify on its own secure pages. We only email you about the thing you asked about — no on-selling your address.
Opting out
You can stop analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by clearing or blocking cookies for this site, or by using your browser's private/incognito mode. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, just get in touch.
